Quality
All components of our modular homes are built indoors ensuring greater percision than can be attained when building a home on site. Indoor construction ensures that none of the materials are exposed or potentially damaged by moisture. Factory construction is never delayed by weather conditions.
Only the highest quality, kiln-dried lumber is used on finely-tuned assembly line jigs in the factory. Tighter construction improves energy efficiency. Hand packed insulation around electrical fixtures and caulking along exterior sheathing seams helps eliminate infiltration of cold air in the winter and hot air in summer. Numerous quality control checks and compliance with federal, state and local building inspections enable us to provide better materials constructed under tighter specifications. This level of review is rarely involved in the building of traditional 'stick-built' homes.
Time
A typical home can be delivered in 3 - 6 weeks and assembled the next day. It can be ready to move into within the next 4 - 6 weeks. The size of the home and amount of on-site finish work required determine the exact time frame.
Cost
Modular homes prices are less than conventionally built, or 'stick built' homes. There are many factors that contribute to the lower pricing including volume purchasing of materials, lower assembly line costs, fewer lost and damaged materials. The lower pricing applies even when the home is customized. This results in more accurate pricing of homes upfront, avoiding the possibilities of exorbitant cost overruns. The savings passed onto our clients is substantial and gives them the advantage of price and quality over a stick built home. Quality housing at a fair price, consistently. |
